Job summary

MUSC Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in Labor & Delivery. The RN will work under supervision, lead team members, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care while maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

Required: SC RN license or compact state, BLS; One year of RN experience, with Nursery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year RN experience; Nursery experience preferred.
• Licensed as RN in SC or compact state; BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other team members; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate care and health teaching for patients and families; ensure privacy and professional conduct.
• Participate in shared governance, adhere to standards of care, and pursue professional growth.
