Job summary

The Treehouse Club in the UK is seeking a dedicated nursery practitioner to join our full-time team. You will deliver a variety of engaging activities for children and keep accurate online journals with insightful observations.

You will uphold safeguarding and Ofsted standards at all times and respond to emergencies following established procedures. Applicants should hold a Level 2 or 3 childcare/early years qualification, with at least one year of childcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare/early years qualification.
• Childcare experience of 1 year or more is preferred.
• Full-time position with eligibility to work in the UK; no sponsorship offered.

Job description

· To deliver a range of exciting and enriching activities and experiences for the children.

· To update children's online learning journals with quality observations and routine checks.

· Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures, statutory welfare requirements and Ofsted expectations and requirements and to ensure these are maintained at all times.

· To have a clear knowledge of procedures to be followed in case of emergency e.g. fire, lockdown, accident & incident procedures.

· To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Nursery.

· To ensure that the Nursery conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted.

· To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the Nursery.

· To implement and maintain the company's Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.

· To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.
