Job Details

• Temporary Need: 02/15/25 - 10/29/25
• Positions: Five (5) full-time, seasonal, temporary Nursery/Farm Workers
• Wage: $16.63/hr
• Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Location: Orem, Utah

Responsibilities

• Plant and grow bedding plants
• Control weeds and harvest produce
• Move plants from greenhouses to carts
• Water and plant seedlings
• Perform bending and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the workday

Terms and Conditions

• Tools, room, board, kitchen facilities, and transportation are provided at no cost
• Must provide employment eligibility documentation (I9 verification) upon hire
• Workers' Compensation coverage or private insurance provided at no cost
• Applicants with no nursery/crop harvesting experience in the past 12 months require up to two references
• Transportation details: employer-provided or reimbursed depending on residence
• Guarantee of employment for at least 3/4 of the work period
• Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence costs upon completing 50% of the employment period, with receipts
• Wage complies with prevailing wage laws and is in connection with a future H-2A labor certification
