Temporary Need: 04/18/25 - 11/08/25. Four (4) full-time, seasonal, temporary Farm Workers/Crop Laborers needed.

Work will perform at the following locations: West Jordan; Delivery/Storage worksites are located within a 15-mile radius of the place of employment in Salt Lake and Utah Counties. Applicants must have 3 months of agricultural work experience and provide contact information for at least one reference who can verify experience and performance. Must be able to lift 45 lbs.

Will work 42 hrs/wk, Mon-Sat, wage is $17.84/hr.

Duties include: Performing a variety of tasks related to the production of crops such as corn, tomatoes, peppers, squash, melons, pumpkins, beans, broccoli, cucumbers, cover crops, and alfalfa. The work involves general farm activities, irrigation, crop production, and packing.

Specific responsibilities encompass:

1. General farm work: operating farm machinery, minor repairs, chemical application, field maintenance, and transportation of crops.
2. Irrigation: managing flood and drip irrigation systems, repairing infrastructure, and ensuring efficient water flow.
3. Horticultural techniques: preparing fields, planting, watering, pruning, transplanting, harvesting, packing, and shipping crops.
4. Crop handling: hand weeding, harvesting, sorting, and packing produce, including quality control and packaging.

Work hours may include split shifts, extended hours during peak periods, and occasional work on Fridays and Saturdays based on harvest demands. Weather and seasonal conditions may affect work availability.

Terms and Conditions of Employment include free tools, housing, kitchen facilities, transportation, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Workers must be available for the entire contract period and capable of performing tasks efficiently without close supervision. Employment eligibility documentation (I9) is required at hire.

The employer guarantees employment for at least 75% of the contract period, offers Workers' Compensation or equivalent insurance, and will reimburse transportation and subsistence costs if the contract is terminated early due to uncontrollable events.
