Job summary

Elder's ACE Hardware in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Sales Associate in the garden department. You will assist customers with garden and landscaping needs, maintain plant displays, and help unload trucks.

This role requires 6 months to 1 year of retail experience, bilingual Spanish, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and a commitment to friendly, professional service. You may train in other areas and uphold store standards daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of retail experience.

• Willing to learn all areas of the store and help train others.
• A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.

• Physical requirements: work outside in summer/winter temperatures, standing or walking during shift, lifting up to 50lbs.

• Execute daily operational, day-to-day goals/priorities and move with Ace Pace.
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays, watch end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for non-stock items.
• Respond to radio requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
