Job summary

The Supervisory Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager in overseeing operations of a nursing unit at VA Bay Pines in Florida. This role blends clinical care with leadership responsibilities and succession planning for higher-level nursing leadership roles.

Qualifications emphasize English proficiency, accredited nursing education, and active licensure; preferred advanced experience includes leadership, Power BI and Excel expertise, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

English language proficiency required for direct patient care.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed to practice nursing in the U.S.
State license to practice nursing or eligible for temporary appointment under GNT provisions.

Responsibilities

Supervises operations of designated nursing unit and covers for other ANMs as needed.
Oversees orientation, training, development, and evaluation of staff.
