Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Supervisory Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing a nursing unit. The role blends clinical leadership with staff development and program oversight.

The ANM will supervise orientation, training, and performance, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, evidence-based patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance and to support the NM’s leadership in daily

Qualifications

• English language proficiency is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in the United States.
• State licensure and eligibility for appointment in VA.
• Foreign education valid equivalency may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing unit operations and staff.
• Provide coverage for other ANMs as needed.
• Direct staff orientation, training, development, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate care delivery and ensure evidence-based practices are followed.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
