Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State RN license.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care that respects residents' rights, dignity and choices.
• Supervise CNAs and other staff to ensure tasks are completed.
• Supervise direct resident care and nursing personnel on shift.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Rounds to ensure safe, clean, and high-quality care.
• Keep physicians and families informed about residents' condition.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Complete medical records and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain infection control and standard precautions in care delivery.
• Ensure resident comfort, privacy and respectful interactions.
• Respond promptly to call lights.
• Assist with admissions, readmissions and inter-room transfers.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors and team members.
• Attend departmental meetings and trainings.
