Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. in Chicago seeks a Nurse Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead our nursing team on a day shift and participate in on-call every other weekend.

You will oversee resident care, conduct nursing rounds, guide staff, coordinate with physicians, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, at least two years in long-term care and one year in management, with excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted Illinois nursing license (RN or LPN).
• CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular nursing rounds to monitor resident care and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to implement individualized care plans.
• Direct, mentor, and supervise shift nursing staff and clinical tasks.
• Support performance evaluations, coaching, and positive unit culture.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and regulatory documentation.
