Grayson Health and Rehabilitation in Independence, VA is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead a dedicated nursing team and ensure exceptional resident care. You will mentor staff, supervise CNAs, and coordinate treatment plans while staying compliant with state and federal regulations.

The role requires active RN or LPN licensure, 3+ years of nursing experience (preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care), and at least 1 year in leadership or administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in nursing leadership or administrative role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for patient-centered care and team development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and CNAs to ensure high-quality care.
• Direct patient care and treatment planning with compliance to care standards.
• Coordinate staffing needs and assist in hiring.
• Maintain accurate resident records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Address resident and family concerns and support staff development.
• Mentor nursing staff and participate in training programs.
• Drive quality improvement and implement new care processes.
