Plaza West Healthcare and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in a leadership role to supervise nursing services and ensure high-quality resident care in a 24-hour operation. You will work with the Director of Nursing to coordinate clinical operations, assess residents, and oversee staff performance while maintaining compliance with state and federal standards.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in the state practiced.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
• As a Registered Nurse you are responsible for staff assignment and supervision of resident care.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates plans for the total care of each resident in line with physician orders, regulations, and policies.
• Interprets and enforces nursing policies to staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Participates in management meetings to discuss resident status and census changes.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate, quality care with adequate staff coverage and a clean environment.
• Develops and monitors QA activities, infection control programs, and safety procedures.
• Collaborates with physicians and community agencies to improve service quality.
• Assists in coordinating nursing services with Therapy and other departments.
• Mentor and test competency of nursing staff; ensure regulatory compliance.
