Qualifications

• BSN or BS required; BSN/BS must be completed within 3–5 years.
• Licensed registered nurse in the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
• Demonstrated management potential or middle management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the unit to ensure high-quality, compassionate patient care.
• Lead and develop staff; manage budgets and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Coordinate orientation, continuing education, and staff development programs.
• Plan conferences and staff education, and monitor quality of care using metrics.
• Ensure appropriate delegation, supervision, and capital/operating budget oversight.
• Manage human resources including hiring, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Maintain regulatory readiness and implement customer service improvements.
