Job summary

Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility in Massachusetts seeks a Nurse Unit Manager to lead the nursing team in delivering high-quality resident care. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on supervision of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure daily care plans and admissions are executed with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/RN program.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience in a health care facility.
• Active RN/LPN license in the state.
• Knowledge of long-term care laws and regulations.
• Strong leadership and ability to supervise staff.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day nursing activities with DON/ADON guidance.
• Develop and update nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure current reference materials are available at nurses' stations.
• Coordinate with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys.
