The Nurse Unit Manager (LPN/RN) will oversee nursing services, coordinate with the DON/ADON, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in quality assurance to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/RN program.
• Must have 2+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care setting.
• Must possess a current, active LPN/RN license in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and long-term care guidelines.
• Ability to lead and supervise personnel and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities in line with facility regulations.
• Develop and maintain nursing department policies and procedures.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
