Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent education and experience; actively pursuing a BSN/BBA/BHA is acceptable.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse: CA
• BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Holds 24-hour responsibility for managing the Patient Transport Department operations.
• Plans, designs, and implements staffing patterns based on patient care and financial needs.
• Leads, supervises, and develops staff to maintain morale and productivity within budget.
• Oversees transport service flow to ensure efficient patient movement across the medical center.
• Collaborates with physicians, patients, families, staff, and other hospital departments to optimize patient care in transportation.
