NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist is seeking a Nurse Technician for the Telemetry unit. This part-time evening role (3:30PM–midnight) supports patient care under RN supervision and requires compassionate bedside presence, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, completion of a Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant program, and BCLS certification. On-site work at the Brooklyn Methodist campus is required.

This position is a part-time (5 shifts biweekly) evening shift (3:30PM-midnight) located at New York-Presbyterian\Brooklyn Methodist.

Preferred Criteria

• Minimum one-year experience as Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program, with documentation of completion
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift, move, and position patients of all weights with varying amounts of assistance in a fair manner on a regular and recurring basis including dexterity of fingers, hands, arms and feet with sensory requirements of speech, touch, vision and hearing to normal range with corrections.
