Job summary

CenterPoint Health - Versailles is seeking a Nurse Technician to join our Med Surg unit. Under the supervision of an RN, you will assist in delivering safe, patient-centered care, including basic needs, mobility, and routine tasks, while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.

The role emphasizes teamwork, infection control, and ongoing professional development within a Lifepoint Health network, with day shifts (3 x 12-hour shifts per week) and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing Assistant Certificate (SRNA/CNA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle with Care certification required within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist under RN supervision to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide basic patient care: bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility assistance.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist nurses with procedures and room setup, basic wound care as directed.
• Transport patients and keep areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.

How you'll contribute

A Nurse Technician who excels in this role:

• Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care.

• Assist nurses with procedures, including room setup and basic wound care under supervision
