Qualifications

• Licensure requirements: None
• Education: High school graduate or GED required
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS Course for HealthCare Providers
• Experience: None required; previous nurse technician or nursing assistant experience preferred
• Understanding of medical technology and rehabilitation care preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and services within the scope of nursing; assist RN as directed and communicate with RN responsible for each patient
• Obtain and record vital signs; document care per department policies
• Transport patients safely to tests and therapy sessions; maintain clean and safe patient areas; assist with equipment and safety as needed

Education

High school diploma or GED

Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
