Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Nurse Technician for the night shift to support patient care under an RN. This full-time role involves 36 hours each week, a 7:00pm–7:30am schedule, and a rotating weekend plan anchored at the main hospital.

The nurse technician will assist with direct patient care, communicate with the RN, help with documentation, and contribute to a safe, compassionate environment aligned with MFB values.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; CNA preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification for HealthCare Providers.
• Experience: None required; CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within scope of license and department policies.
• Assist RN and participate in department activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the RN.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and accurate documentation.
