Job summary

Saint Francis Health System is seeking a Nurse Technician for the Trauma Emergency Center in Tulsa. You will provide patient care under a licensed nurse, perform routine tasks, and document patient data to support care plans.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Nurse Technician or CNA program, and CPR within 30 days of hire; 0–6 months of related experience is typical for applicants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Saint Francis Hospital Nurse Technician Training Program or CNA program.
• 0–6 months related health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to an assigned group of patients using basic skills.
• Performs procedural tasks and assists ADL, considering patient’s age and psychosocial factors.
• Observes and reports patient condition, activities, and needs to the licensed nurse.
• Documents data according to unit/hospital policy and records treatments or procedures.
• Records I & O’s, vital signs, and other data promptly.
• Transports patients, food, supplies, equipment, and specimens as necessary.
• Maintains a clean and orderly patient room/unit and participates in in-services.
