Job summary

Saint Francis Health System seeks a Nurse Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an Oklahoma-licensed nurse. The role requires completion of the Saint Francis Nurse Technician Training Program or a CNA program, CPR within 30 days, and up to 6 months healthcare experience.

Expect a 7:00am–7:00pm shift with a Friday–Sunday schedule and possible alternating weeks. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting data, observing patients, and transporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Saint Francis Nurse Technician Training Program or CNA program.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 0–6 months related health care experience.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and document data accurately.
• Observe and report patient condition to licensed nurse promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to an assigned group of patients and assist with ADLs.
• Perform procedural tasks and observe patients' conditions and needs.
• Document data, vital signs and I&O according to policy.
• Support PI and educational activities; attend in-services.
• Transport patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
