Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nursing Student to join the team as a Nurse Technician, delivering patient care under RN supervision across diverse populations.

Applicants must be enrolled in or have completed the first semester of an accredited nursing program or hold Oklahoma CNA licensure for Long Term Care; a current BLS certification is required and a pre-employment assessment must be passed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in and have successfully completed the first semester of an accredited Nursing Program or hold current Oklahoma CNA licensure in Long Term Care and be enrolled in an accredited Nursing Program.
• BLS certification required.
• Must successfully pass the pre-employment assessment.
• Must demonstrate each task before performing independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and operate equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keep appropriate parties informed of changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participate in planned education for the patient per Patient/Family Education policy.
• Report variances according to risk management processes of UHS.
