Job summary

Torrance Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Tech to assist with patient care under the supervision of RNs. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, providing hygiene, and supporting patient needs while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Registered Nurse program, has strong patient care skills, and holds BCLS or ACLS certification. This is an hourly position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Registered Nurse program and completed the first semester of basic nursing skills.
• Ongoing enrollment in a Registered Nurse program.
• BCLS or ACLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including hygiene, vital signs, and feeding.
• Support patient care under RN direction and document in EMR.
• Assist with moving patients and ensuring their safety.
