Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA certification and active licensure in California.
• Successful completion of first semester enrolled in RN program or RN graduate awaiting residency process.
• Current EMT certification or paramedic license as applicable.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential may be relevant depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and basic nursing tasks as directed by RN.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and timely response to call lights.
• Document intake, output and vital signs accurately in the medical record.
• Assist with infection control practices and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Support RN with procedures, monitor patients, and report changes promptly.
