Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA certification and patient-care competence are required.
• RN in progress or RN graduate awaiting residency is expected.
• Current EMT certification (National Registry or LA County) required.
• Paramedic license issued by the CA EMS Authority is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential may be required for some tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision and within scope of practice.
• Perform hourly rounding and document observations.
• Assist with transport, repositioning, and basic patient care tasks.
• Maintain infection prevention and safety standards across shifts.
• Collect specimens and perform basic point-of-care testing as directed.
