Job summary

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center is part of LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. We are seeking a Nurse Technician to support patients with complex behavioral and medical needs in a fast-paced, collaborative team. You will assist with ADLs, perform IV starts, phlebotomy, EKG monitoring, and catheter care under RN guidance.

The role emphasizes hands-on clinical skills, teamwork, patient safety, and compassionate, patient-centered care within a respected geriatric-focused system.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland CNA license (CNA II).
• BLS certification (AHA required).
• 1-3 years of patient care experience preferred.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including total assistance with activities of daily living and accurate documentation.
• Perform IV placement as directed by licensed nursing staff.
• Perform Foley catheter insertion, maintenance, and care.
• Conduct and monitor EKGs, reporting abnormal findings promptly.
• Perform phlebotomy for lab specimen collection.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient status.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the care team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $25 Based On Experience
