Responsibilities

• Participates in the general orientation process for all new employees and acts as a preceptor for new employees within the Nursing Service Branch.
• Participates in the QA program.
• Conducts weekly, monthly and yearly in-services.
• Tracks and records the continuing education for the Nursing Services Branch.
• Performs professional nursing care such as preparing and administering medications, wound care, catheter care, intravenous therapy and dressing changes.
