The Pearl of Hillside is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead a team of long-term care professionals. This role supports a facility with a positive reputation and cohesive veteran staff.

You are central to maintaining quality nursing practice and coordinating programs, with an emphasis on problem-solving within established policies. As a nurse supervisor, you will allocate staff per shift, coordinate patient care on your unit, and address concerns with directors and staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• CPR certification is required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Determines the optimal allocation of present staff, per shift.
• Coordinates the care of patients on assigned shift and communicates concerns.
• Notifies Director or Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Receives employee, resident and family grievances and refers information to the manager.
• Assists nurses in completing risk assessments and investigations of injury.
• Notifies learning needs to Assistant Director of Nursing and Human Resources Director.
