Job summary

St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport seeks a Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor (RN). You will supervise nursing on assigned shift, ensure delivery of patient care, and uphold nursing standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut required.
• 3 years of a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Nursing experience or supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the Nursing department on assigned shift.
• Ensure delivery of direct and indirect patient care via the Nursing Process and regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership for multiple hospital departments in the absence of the RN unit manager or administration.
• Foster a positive environment for professional nursing practice and continuous quality improvement.
