Job summary

St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks an experienced Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor (RN) to supervise Nursing on an assigned shift and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.

The role supports continuous quality improvement and patient flow, and provides leadership in the absence of the RN unit manager or administration. Valid CT RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN with Connecticut license and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• 3 years of acute Psychiatric/Behavioral Health nursing or supervisory/leadership experience.
• Active Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor Nursing department on assigned shift per standards.
• Ensure quality patient care and manage patient flow across units.
• Provide leadership in the absence of unit manager and director.
