Job summary

City of Hope in Torrance, CA seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead an ambulatory oncology clinic and infusion services. You will supervise staff, ensure policy adherence, and optimize scheduling and throughput in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will hold a California RN license, have at least 3 years of RN experience, and possess or obtain ONS/OCN credentials and BLS. Oncology-focused leadership is preferred for this critical role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's in Nursing is required.
• Current California RN license.
• Minimum of three years RN experience.
• ONS Chemo/Bio Certificate (or obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• OCN certification (or to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
• Preferred experience overseeing ambulatory oncology clinics and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision of Medical Assistants and Laboratory Phlebotomists.
• Policy and procedure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Create staffing schedules and manage clinic throughput.
• Oversee EPIC In-Basket management and timely responses.
• Provide resource support to staff during busy periods.
• Lead meetings and drive continuous improvement in clinical operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
