Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing staff at C. M. Tucker Campus, Roddey Pavilion, Columbia, SC.

You will supervise care delivery, rounds, and care planning, ensuring adherence to standards while floating to units as needed. The role requires a SC-licensed RN with a BSN or 3-year diploma, strong leadership, and the ability to work with diverse residents. CPR/AED certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Nursing supervision experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to implement and interpret nursing policies and procedures.
• Team collaboration with interdisciplinary staff.
• Competence in CPR, AED, and basic life support.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds and document resident assessments and care.
• Assist in planning and implementing nursing care programs.
• Ensure compliance with OBRA, OSHA, and DPH requirements.
• Manage nursing staff records and provide guidance to staff.
• Communicate educational and staffing needs to the Nurse Administrator.
