Job summary

The successful candidate will possess a nursing degree or LPN/LVN credential, current license, CPR, and ongoing professional development. The position requires strong leadership and collaborative teamwork within the nursing service team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Current CPR certification and continuing education/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing care for residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations; maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Review and update care plans; discharge planning support; participate in QA and audits.
