Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams in patient rehabilitation services. The role focuses on implementing personalized care plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care on a dedicated unit.

You will partner with administration and nursing leadership, supervise shifts, evaluate performance, and build strong patient relationships to support successful recoveries and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification; ACLS within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification within a year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience (last five years).
• Leadership role with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs and policies.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts/unit.
• Monitor staff, provide on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and discipline.
• Assume patient care as needed and build relationships for successful recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
