Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Morgantown is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams in our inpatient-rehab setting. This role emphasizes developing care programs, guiding staff, and ensuring compassionate, evidence-based patient care.

You will serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and frontline staff, supervise shifts, provide feedback, and support patient recovery through strong leadership and collaborative teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS certification; ACLS within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification within one year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience and a prior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance coaching.
• Assume patient care as needed and build relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
