Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate clinical care in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting. This role emphasizes developing and implementing patient care programs, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality, compassionate service during patients' rehabilitation journeys.

The position requires active RN licensure, BLS with ACLS within a year, and CRRN eligibility, with at least two years in inpatient care and prior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure per state regulations.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 12 months of start.
• CRRN certification within one year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum two years in inpatient hospital setting.
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with results accountability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations.
• Provide patient-centered care and build relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and uphold care quality.
