Encompass Health Corporation is hiring a Nurse Supervisor to lead patient care teams in our rehabilitation facilities. You will develop and implement personalized care programs, supervise staff, and coordinate between administration and nursing leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, a BSN preferred, ACLS/CRRN certifications within one year, and inpatient hospital experience. Leadership experience is essential for success and impact.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing with state regulations.
• BSN preferred; ACLS and CRRN certifications to be obtained within one year.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience within the last five years.
• Leadership experience such as charge nurse or lead capacity with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serving as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervising nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitoring and managing staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline.
• Assuming patient care as needed and building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
