UAB is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for Home Visiting to provide reflective supervision, clinical nursing oversight, and community outreach across Alabama counties. The role requires a BSN, RN licensure, and 5 years of related experience, with Master’s preferred. Travel within Cullman, Blount, St.

Clair, and Etowah counties is required. The supervisor will manage nurse home visitors, ensure adherence to NFP model, and lead data reporting and team meetings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required and five years of related experience preferred.
• RN licensed by Alabama Board of Nursing or eligible for endorsement.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to the nursing process and NFP model of home visitation.
• Oversees recruitment and hiring of nurse home visitors and administrative staff.
• Supports policies and standards of NFP and lead agency.
• Assigns client caseloads and supervises nurse home visitors.
• Ensures completion of assigned education and adherence to NFP model.
• Develops therapeutic relationships using reflection and motivational interviewing in home visiting.
• Monitors data input and reports in the NFP system; shares findings with team and partners.
• Conducts reflective supervision and field visits as recommended by NFP.
• Maintains client caseload as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
