Job summary

Family Health Bureau in Glen Burnie, MD seeks a full-time nurse to oversee the Childhood Asthma and Lead Environmental Case Management program. This county contract role requires leadership and hands-on supervision of daily operations and staff.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate services, coordinate with health partners, monitor resources, and ensure program standards are met under the Program Manager's supervision. RN license in Maryland is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Two years as a nurse plus at least one year in an administrative, supervisory, consultative, or teaching capacity.
• Experience providing health education.
• Experience working with community partners.
• Chronic disease case management and/or home visiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the asthma and lead home visiting programs.
• Assist in developing program standards and monitoring compliance.
• Monitor staff expenditure reports, program inventory, and program resources.
• Supervise staff; coordinate services with other disciplines, health services providers, and agencies.
• Provide program services and evaluate outcomes.
