Job summary

Anne Arundel County Department of Health in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Childhood Asthma and Lead Environmental Case Management program at 6701 Baymeadow Drive, Suite B.

The role requires a RN license, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least two years of nursing plus one year in supervisory or teaching capacity, with health education experience. You will collaborate with community partners to deliver program services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Two years as a nurse plus at least one year in an administrative, supervisory, consultative, or teaching capacity.
• Experience providing health education.
• Experience working with community partners.
• Chronic disease case management and/or home visiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the asthma and lead home visiting programs.
• Assist the Program Manager in developing program standards and monitoring compliance; supervise staff and coordinate services with other disciplines and agencies.
