Job summary

Qualifications

• Postsecondary nursing credential from an accredited school required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• RN licensure required; BCLS required.
• Minimum 2+ years post-graduate acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing service for the scheduled shift per hospital policies.
• Coordinate staffing, supervise staff, and evaluate performance.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety across nursing services.
• Inform and advise the Director of Nursing on activities, issues, and needs.
• Collaborate with charge nurses to manage the daily staff schedule.
