The Nurse Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager (NM) with supervisory duties and accountability for the 24/7 operation of designated units, including clinical associates and laboratory. They cover for other ANMs or NMs as needed and oversee orientation, training, and staff development, while contributing to performance evaluations.

• English proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Graduate from an approved nursing program with active RN license.
• State licensure prior to permanent appointment is required.
• Foreign degree evaluation may be needed for equivalence.
• Eligible for certification/licensure in a US state.

Responsibilities

• Assists Nurse Manager in supervising unit operations 24/7.
• Directs orientation, training and development of staff.
• Provides input into staff performance evaluations.
• Supervises clinical associates, care managers and laboratory personnel.
