Personal Healthcare Management LLC in New York is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations, staff performance, and quality of patient care across assigned units.

The role requires a BSN or higher, current RN licensure, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience with management exposure; a sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered along with premium compensation and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current registration and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state employed in.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One-year experience in a management position preferred.
• One-year experience in geriatrics and subacute population.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and nursing staff performance.
• Plan and conduct shift staff meetings to assist in identifying problems and improving services.
• Identify problems in the delivery of nursing care and implement corrective action.
• Provide reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Perform accident investigations and report findings.
• Interpret policies and procedures to staff, residents, visitors, and agencies.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Develop work assignments and delegate authority to Charge Nurses.
• Conduct daily rounds of assigned units at shift start/end.
• Follow up on complaints and grievances and take corrective action.
• Ensure emergency equipment/supply checks are done each shift.
• Ensure clean, safe resident environment.
• Participate in orientation for new staff.
• Complete performance evaluations and initiate disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and dress code.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
