Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a nurse leader for weekend coverage in New York. The role offers a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time employment over two years and a starting rate of $46/hr, with shift differential up to $47.25/hr.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily nursing care delivery and staff performance per policies.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to improve services.
• Identify issues in nursing care and implement corrective actions.
• Provide written and oral reports to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident services for continuity of care.
• Initiate investigations of accidents with interviews and data gathering.
• Explain policies to staff, residents, visitors, and government agencies.
• Maintain resident information confidentiality.
• Develop work assignments and supervise staff accordingly.
• Delegate authority to Charge Nurses for duties.
• Perform daily rounds at shift start/end as appropriate.
• Address complaints with Directors and take corrective action.
• Ensure emergency equipment checks are performed each shift.
• Maintain a safe, clean resident environment.
• Assist in orientation for new nursing staff and ensure role clarity.
• Complete performance evaluations as required.
• Ensure staff compliance with nursing standards and procedures.
• Oversee medication administration and MAR accuracy.
• Support quality improvement and infection control initiatives.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

Current RN license in state of employment

CPR/BLS certification
