Job summary

Vernon Public Schools in Vernon, CT is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee student health services at the Central Office/District level. The role provides healthcare to students, conducts health screenings, and coordinates referrals to medical and community providers.

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison among school personnel, families, and healthcare partners to advocate for a healthy school environment; 3-5 years in public or community health nursing and supervisory experience

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the Connecticut Department of Health.
• 3-5 years working in public or community health nursing.
• 1-2 years related supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of and/or experience working within school setting preferred.

Salary and Benefits: The salary range for the 2024-25 school year is per contract ($71,400 annual) with a competitive benefits package. Please see attached contract for details.
