Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Encompass Health, is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead inpatient rehabilitation teams, develop care programs, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with administration and nursing leadership, guiding staff through procedures while delivering compassionate, individualized care to patients and families in a community setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the required state.
• ACLS certification within one year of start date.
• CRRN certification within one year of meeting eligibility.
• BSN preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience within the last five years.
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care and services during assigned shifts or units.
• Monitor and manage staff performance, including feedback and evaluations.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and promote a compassionate work environment.

• Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
