Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams in our inpatient rehabilitation setting, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring adherence to evidence-based procedures.

You will develop and implement personalized care programs, supervise staff, and act as a key liaison between administration and nursing leadership, guiding teams toward optimal patient outcomes and seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BSN degree with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within one year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within last five years).
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and counseling/discipline.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships to support recovery (physical, mental, emotional).
• Celebrate patient victories throughout the care journey.
