Job summary

Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead our inpatient rehab team. You will supervise nursing care during 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. shifts, ensure policy implementation, and deliver compassionate care alongside a dedicated staff.

The role includes developing patient care programs, mentoring nurses, and coordinating with administration and therapy teams to support optimal recoveries. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available and benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BSN or related field preferred.
• ACLS and CRRN certifications expected within 12 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care and services during assigned shifts.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and discipline as needed.
• Engage with patients to support their recovery and build trust.

• Bachelor'sDegreeinNursingorrelatedfield preferred.
• Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfive years).
• Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
