Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams in our inpatient rehabilitation environment. You will oversee patient care, ensure compliance with policies, and guide staff through daily operations to support excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the applicable state regulations.
• BSN degree or higher preferred; ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff with on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling/disciplines.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships by understanding patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the journey.
