Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will oversee care delivery, implement care programs, and coordinate between administration and staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and a patient-centered approach, with opportunities for professional growth and access to advanced technology.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering counseling and discipline.
• Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
